Start from the Full form NIMCET ( NIT MCA Common Entrance Test ) is a National-level entrance exam conducted by the National Institutes of Technology ( NITs ) and after clearing this exam you are able to get admission into Master of Computer Applications ( MCA ) program and NIMCET is Launched in 2007, This is the exclusive gateway to MCA programs offered by 11 NITs and 2 IITs in India.
Exam held once in a year if specifically mention it was held in 6 JUNE 2026. Mode of exam is CBT ( Computer-Based Mode ) and tests Candidates on core subjects like Mathematics , Logical Reasoning , Computer Awareness, and English
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NIMCET-2026 TEST-
Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10- point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ST/PwD) in
i. Any UG Programme of minimum three years duration with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects
OR
ii. ii. B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University/Institution are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2026.
