Explanation
Pattern Breakdown
In this series, the symbols move from the bottom/middle area up to a "final" top row. One symbol moves into the top-row sequence in each step, pushing the existing top symbols to the right.
-
Figure 1 to 2: The plus (+) shifts right. The minus (−) moves from the middle-left to the top-left.
-
Figure 2 to 3: The minus (−) and plus (+) shift right.
-
Figure 3 to 4: The triangle (Δ) moves from the bottom-left to the top-left. The previous symbols (−,+) shift right.
-
Figure 4 to 5: The square (□) moves from the bottom-center to the middle-left (preparing to move up).
-
Figure 5 to 6 (Your Answer): * The square (□) finally moves to the top-left.
-
The existing top row (Δ,−,+) shifts to the right, but since the row is full, the plus (+) remains at the end or moves down, while Δ and − adjust.
-
The open circle (∘) moves up to the middle-right.
-
The black circle (∙) moves to the bottom-left.
Visual Summary of the Final State
The logic of the movement results in this configuration:
-
Top Row: A new sequence is formed starting with the square (□), triangle (Δ), and minus (−) pushing the plus (+) to the far right.
-
Middle Row: The square (□) and open circle (∘) occupy the middle tier.
-
Bottom Row: Only the black circle (∙) remains at the very bottom.
